CWCAC is a designated community Housing Development Organization recognized by the Federal Department of Housing & Urban Development and the State Department of Commerce. Our focus is developing affordable rental units in a geographic area.<\/p>\n
In order to improve the quality of life in our community, we continue to play a key role as a provider of Affordable Housing in our service area. Working with multiple jurisdictions, we strive to increase the number of affordable housing opportunities in our community.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>

North Street \u2022 2 Bedroom units, 1 Bath Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC): Since this property has received funding in part through the Low Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) program, a certain number of units are set aside for lower income households.<\/p>\n Households must earn either less than 50% or 60% of the area median income (depending on the set-aside option chosen by the property owner) to qualify for these units.<\/p>\n Rents in these units are capped at a maximum of 30% of the set-aside area median income (adjusted for unit size). Some rental units in this property may not be subject to LIHTC and therefore have higher rents and no maximum household income requirement.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>
